1. Felt Stockings: The annual Giving Tree stocking project, in support of FMHE Giving Trees is a GO! This year, we are making 150 large felt stockings, 100 of which will be used for homebound FMHE parishioners. We'll have a "make it" meeting on Tuesday, October 8, at 4:00 pm, at the St. Catharine Rectory.  You can pick up felt for cutting and/or sewing.  For those who like to decorate, stockings will be available Oct. 22nd, at 4:00 pm, also at the St C. Rectory. The deadline for finished stockings is Nov. 15. 

2. Hats and Scarves: Common Thread is collecting crocheted and knitted hats and scarves (adult S-M-L) for FMHE school children, the giving trees, and others.

3. Altar Linen Update: The multi-parish sewing team prayerfully kicked off the project on Sept 24 and is making purificators during October. November's project is corporals. St. Catharine needs 20 of each; extras will be distributed to other FMHE parishes. The next meeting is Tuesday Oct. 15 at 4:30 pm (St. C. Rectory).
