We begin our Christian journey through the Sacrament of Baptism, a journey that gratefully does not happen alone, but in relationship with God and our Christian faith community.

"Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons and daughters of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the church and made sharers in the mission..."

Infant Baptism:

Congratulations!  God has blessed you with a new life to care for and share your faith.  St. Catharine of Siena joins with you in welcoming the new young Christian into our community.  We want you to be prepared both for the celebration of the Sacrament for your child and to know the resources available as he/she grows.  Arrangements for the Pre-Baptismal Preparation Program should be made before the birth or adoption of the child or shortly thereafter.  Contact Erin Evans at 513-494-4678 to schedule your child's Baptism and/or the Pre-Baptismal Preparation Program.

Baptism Children ages 7 – 17 (RCIA with Children)

The RCIA for children is modeled after the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and is designed for children who have reached the age of reason (usually around age seven and beyond).  The process meets the needs of our youth who are new to our faith or have very little knowledge of the Catholic religion.  Together with their parents, children will attend weekly sessions that are filled with prayer, the word of God through scripture, and religious instruction. 

Baptism for Adults through RCIA: Rite of Christian Intuition of Adults

Have you ever considered becoming part of the Catholic Church? Do you know someone who has questions about the Catholic Faith?  The Church provides the process of Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults to assist person’s wanting to become Catholic.  Here at Saint Catharine of Siena Parish, our door is open for all who yearn to discover their journey of faith.
