Since 2009, our school has celebrated the Feast Day of our Patron Saint, Catherine of Siena, by holding a Palio Race on or near her Feast Day, April 29. This race is a re-enactment of the famous Palio Race which takes place twice yearly in Siena, Italy, the birthplace of Saint Catherine. This event is unique to our school and we take great pride in this annual event. Please refer to our Picture Gallery to view pictures of this special event.
Saint Catharine Parish has been an excellent steward of the physical plant of its school building for over 100 years. The school is well maintained and has many amenities that enhance its nine classrooms. These amenities include: A Student Art Gallery in the Main Hallway, a Prayer Room, a Computer Lab, a Science Lab, Music and Art Rooms, a outdoor Courtyard as well as a full size Gymnasium. We are also fortunate to have Ryan Park in our backyard. This green space is often used for student recess and physical education classes.
